Advanced seminars for novice drivers (ASF)

If novice drivers commit traffic violations during the probationary period, the driving license authority may impose attendance of an advanced training seminar (ASF). Non-participation or late participation leads to the withdrawal of the driver's license (§ 2a Para. 3 StVG).

The advanced seminar consists of 4 sessions (135 minutes each) as well as a driving test (at least 30 minutes) between the first and second session, which serves to observe driving behavior. 

A certificate of attendance can only be issued if the participant has attended the entire ASF.

Important: It is not possible to make up for missed seminars!
